An old man in one of the villages on the Lassithi plateau on Crete. He's a tough guy, isn't he? Although Crete recieves 2 million visitors a year its still easy to find the 'real Greece' on Crete. Just get away from the tourist resorts at the north coast into the mountains and you still find the traditional rural life. This picture was taken by MY WIFE, not me.
