GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A multi building Hotel complex named after the ancient city of Hydramia, is situated on the beach of Kavros, near by the village of Georgioupolis, at 95 kms from the Heraklion International Airport, at 55 kms from the International Airport of Chania and a short drive from points of natural beauty on the western part of the Island. Build in a traditional architecture; it is enriched with a few modern water elements as fountains, private pools, a large swimming pool. At only 16 kms east from the hotel the town of Rethymno offers a huge variety of shops able to satisfy even the most demanding customers. A variety of bars, restaurants and taverns, plus a multitude of discos and nightclubs are taking care of your evening entertainment. It is interesting to pay a visit to the Venetian Fortress as well to the old part of the city with its beautiful narrow streets. On the west at 40 kms is the picturesque town of Chania with its beautiful port filled with a large variety of outdoor Cafe and Fish Restaurants, together with a very animated shopping area at the old part of the town.
ACCOMMODATION
The hotel consists of 135 double rooms (couch for a third person/ child), 5 family rooms (for 3-4 adults), 12 maisonettes (3-4 persons), 4 double rooms connected by two with sharing pool (couch for a third person/ child), 1 room with private pool (2-3 persons), 1 family room with private pool (2-5 persons) and 2 luxurious suites (2-4 persons). The 135 standard double rooms include 5 rooms for handicapped people and 6 connecting rooms. All rooms have: individual air-condition (cold-warm), satellite TV, telephone (room + bathroom), direct dial phone, internet access, mini-fridge, safety deposit boxes (extra charge), marble bathroom fully equipped (hair-dryer etc.), balcony or veranda.
