When we traveled from the city of Ierapetra (supposedly this is the southernmost city of europe) we traveled through lots of tiny mountain villages. We stopped in one of the smaller ones (practically just two rows of houses, one on each side of the road). This was during noon and the temperature was around 35 degrees celcius and these four old men sat beside the road in the shade relaxing. This seems to be a really good way to spend the days when you are getting old.
