PASSAS Taverna - Restaurant


In the ring-road of the old town of Rethymno, under the castle Fortezza in the area of Kiouloumpasi and 170m from the Venetian harbor located the taverna - restaurant Passas.

Warm and hostile environment, with mezes inspired from the Cretan cuisine with virgin Cretan olive oil and local products, travel to the past with back-ground of the Cretan sea.

Delicacies meze from land and sea, salads from the Cretan land, home made cooked food, fresh fish from the fisherman and local Cretan grilled meat accompanied by local wine under the shadow of the castle.

For dessert try the home made sweet carrot in syrup with yoghurt which has been awarded by the Club Chefs Crete bronze metal and accompanied with raki.
