I made my first visit to Gorgioupoulos at the end of May 2012 and stayed at Eleana Studios. The rooms are spacious, spotless and are finished to a high quality standard. They have the extra facility of a small cooking range and free WiFi. They have a.c and a balcony. They are just a minute from the fantastic sandy beach, the Edem swimming pool and the square and are ideally located for visits to Chania or Rethymnon. The Delibar downstairs is a great place to 'hang out' and they have a full range of cocktails, beers, wines and snacks. There are many good tavernas and bars in the area with a good bus service.

Stayed here several times. Last time was at Sofia Apartments, part of the Riverside Hotel. Excellent rooms, good views, clean and very good value for money. Two balconies, large lounge and kitchen with large double bed. Rooms cleaned frequently. Adonis and Athena at Riverside very welcoming and friendly. Picturesque village with choice of lovely beaches and a great base to explore western Crete. Will be going back!!

We have been to crete several times before, but Georgioupolis is simply the best! Fantastic athmosphere and good restaurants, great beach and very long! If you would like to have sun, fun, beach, relaxing and just enjoy, this is the place to go! One restaurant in particular is Vasilikos. Excellent service and fantastic food! The hospitality and kindness service you will meet, you will appreciate every time you are there! So enjoy Georgioupolis and have fun!

wir waren im sommer auf kreta und genau in diesem ort, das war sehr toll! das meer, der süßwassersee, usw. aber das hotel feriniki würde ich auf keinem fall empfehlen!!!!!!! lohnt sich nicht! ! !
